Was that George Harrison's son in white? When did Billy Preston die?
Indeed, that was Dhani Harrison along side 'Slowhand' who both co-ordinated the 'Concert for George'.

When released as a single, in October, 1970, "My Sweet Lord" topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Entering the British charts in the first week at number seven and then hitting the summit for five weeks, it was the first single by an ex-Beatle to reach number one. The song was originally intended for Billy Preston, who had a minor hit with it in early 1970, in his album 'Encouraging Words'. It was written in December 1969, when Harrison and Billy Preston were in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb...(and for those of you who didn't recognize the name, it was the guitar player's son who was on TV after Prince Charles's car got swarmed).

I'm still trying to master copy/paste

Rockslinger said he was a country boy! So this is one for him.
Skynnrd, Free Bird...the sacred cow of 70s Southern Rock (so, have we covered the entire ban list from the guitar room at Steve's Music yet?).

"One Night In Paris" from 10cc's Original Soundtrack album from 1975.

Is he gonna buy, is he gonna pay
Or is he gonna fall in love
the All-American way...

"Silver Machine" was a big hit for Hawkwind over in the UK in 1972, spacey Lemmy before he revved his Motorhead.

What a striking resemblance!

I used to study music years ago and remember how Billy Preston played an organ called the Farfisa Professional (an Italian instrument manufacturer, not defunct).

He was great. Do you know he also played the piano with John Lennon on the Imagine album?

They don't make great music like this anymore it seems (one of my favourite songs)

(Again, this could be a late 60s song but who cares eh?)
