I take back the clip I posted earlier as I realized it wasn't actually from the 70's

But how about this?

One of my favourites from the 70's. Love the beat.

From 1973's Abandoned Luncheonette. Nice blend of Philly soul and rock n' roll.

Ok so it's a little more soul than rock. The riff is legendary.

Who remembers Gina from Gimlet's (Lombard & Victoria) dancing to meatloaf back around 77? I can still smell the sweat. :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgK6dBefpu8 2 Out Of 3 Ain't Bad. (my favorite song on my Mickey Mouse record player with the flashing disco lights). Lol. I had the 45 record (single of this track) with those little yellow plastic things to put in the middle of the record so it would play on the "grown up" record player if needed....the song was still about 5 or 6 years old at this point....but MY VERY FAVORITE...lol)

nothing makes me wish I was born about 20 years earlier than '70's music...to see these guys in their prime would've been awesome

First Rod who in the early '70's when his voice was really raspy was just amazing...he was writing killer songs at this time with great lyrics

I can't find Mandolin Wind on youtube(unbellievable) but it's great too
