I know a girl who married a metro cop and then filed for divorce 8 months later. Turned out he was a total control freak.... Gee.... A METRO COP????.... Go figure!
What more can be added to a story than to mention that the guy was a total control freak? You don't have to be a genius to figure the rest out.
I've had the unfortunate opportunity of knowing a bunch of them as well and let's just say that my opinion of them is vastly different.

That's all we can expect. I knew a friend who married a banking executive who turned out to be an A class control freak and she divorced him as well. She got the last laugh and he never got another promotion; not married with 2.3 kids and such.
Sounds to me that everything you know or learned about cops comes from the backseat of a cop car.
Never been in a police car in my life.
I personally know a few cops from Halton, Guelph, Metro TO, and OPP and they are all big time pricks including a brother-in-law.
I know a girl that dated a cop....very aggressive, threatening....he demanded his head be scratched for hours when he got home. Luckily he applied for the RCMP, and left Peel Region....good news for her. He ended up in Labrador, and being arrested for his aggressiveness on another woman.

I sat in the back of a police car once, next to the guy they arrested for trying to steal my motorcycle. What kind of slimeball would try to steal my motorcycle at 3 AM in the morning?
Another time I sat in the front seat of a police car as he drove me and my bike home after I crashed and burned on Jacques Cartier bridge.
Something sounds a bit fishy here. Either the cop was a total idiot or.......... You don't put the complainant and the accused in the back seat of the same car. That's just asking for trouble. And as far as what kind of slimeball would try and steal your motorcycle at 3 AM in the morning, I guess the same kind that'll try and steal your motorcycle at 3 PM in the afternoon. Don't think there's much difference.
He owned the grocery store in Quebec at the bottom of the Jacques Cartier bridge, next to the bike shed. Just sayin'.
That was over 20 years ago in Montreal. The cop was alone in his patrol car. I think it is now mandatory to have 2 cops per car. What was really scary was when I had to testify in court and the thief had like 30 of his friends there and the court asked for my name and address.
