There are a few hotels on Hart Drive just off the 400 that most ladies use, Comfort Inn,Montee Carlo,Travel Lodge. There are a few others if these don't meet your needs. I would say for most of us guys here there just fine. As far as newspapers go try the Barrie Examiner seems to be were most people advertize. Welcome to Barrie & we Look forward to seeing you........

I prefere the Travelodge or Comfort Inn because you can enter through the patio door of the rooms. I don't like walking through the lobby of a small hotel.....

Doesn't the MC have a few side entrances? I'm pretty sure that you don't have to go by the front desk.

Is it true that the Monte Carlos In Barrie requires
Key cards to the hall way where the roons are
and elevators? Oh no!

Gudnite and BarrieJay!
So the Travelodge and Confort Inn are the most Incognito?
Are they confy and safe as well?

You don't need a room key to get to the elevator or the rooms at the MC. You do have to walk 20 feet through the lobby, but that is no big deal because it looks like your headed for the restaraunt. When you leave you can walk out the back door no problem. Can't speak to the comfort inn, but I find the Travel lodge to be a dump. (both of them).

You can't really go wrong with the Comfort Inn. During the day, you can enter through the side or back door, but they do lock them around 5:00. The front desk ix no big deal though. Any time Ive used it, they usually have their heads down. ( I think they know) Travelodge is dumpy, but they do have direct entrancce to the room
