Just read a report Mr Kahdre has a deal in place to plead guilty to all charges and recieve a 9 year sentance, 7 in Canada
Wrong, Omar is just as much a canadfian citizen as you are.Send him and his family back to Pakistan. They haven't earned the privilege of living in Canada.
maybe , but that's just on paper. his actions show where his true allegiance is.Wrong, Omar is just as much a canadfian citizen as you are.
There is also a Canadian on death row in Montana for the cold blooded murder of two Americans who wants back in Canada. It is amazing how they all scream "I AM CANADIAN" when they try to avoid justice in a foreign jurisdiction. Maybe all those new prisons aren't just for TERBIES, but some space will be reserved for terrorists and murderers as well.maybe , but that's just on paper. his actions show where his true allegiance is.
Respectfully you and I strongly disagree. He's done 8 years of pre trial time already. 7 years imprisonment in Canada walks him out the prison door as soon as he gets here. Which appears to be the just result.
The canadian charter only recognizes one class of canadian citizens, not two or three based upon religion or whatever.maybe , but that's just on paper. his actions show where his true allegiance is.
But, did you know that not all Canadian citizens are equal when it comes to getting the Old Age Security pension? (I'm sure there are other examples as well.) Khadr went aboard and commited crimes abroad and was captured in the act. Not our problem. The canadian charter only recognizes one class of canadian citizens, not two or three based upon religion or whatever.
You must be a liberal social worker for immigrants. You're welcome to go back to whichever 'stan' they're from with them.Wrong, Omar is just as much a canadfian citizen as you are.
Hopefully, he moves beside danmandKahdr was born in Canada and that unfortunatly makes him our problem once the americans are done with him. Just what we do with him is a question that i have no answer for, I don't think he is safe to release into the public, but once his sentence is finished he is free to move in beside anybody on this board.

And if you are ever accused of a crime abroad, I suppose you feel it is ok if your government abandons you....? Man ... I think the red on our flag must represent the rednecks. But, did you know that not all Canadian citizens are equal when it comes to getting the Old Age Security pension? How can he NOT get pretrial time? The process at Gitmo is horrendously flawed, but if he's denied pretrial time that's an immediate appeal to the US SC and a quick and obvious win for him.I don't think he gets pretrial time for this one, but it all depends on the judge.
That would be fine with me, but only if he and his family agreed to leave the country and renounce Canadian citizenship upon his release. How can he NOT get pretrial time? Moreover as soon as he's in Canada he's probably entitled to apply to have his pretrial time counted as 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 based on the miserable conditions under which he was held (i.e., torture).
It may come as a schock to you, but in Canada, muslims are free to move and settle wherever they want to.Hopefully, he moves beside danmand
