Not surprised!

Now watch for Bele and Lokai to resume their mutual insanity.

Bele will start lobbing rockets and kill and couple folks and Lokai will respond with massive air attacks killing a thousand in retaliation!....

A pox on them BOTH!

Force the other side to come to the table with words instead of bombs?
How do you start a peace negotiation by "forcing" anything? Like I said, not interested in peace. War is good, they can continue their genocide under the guise of defence.

The other side is at the table. Israel is closing down the peace talks. Now we are ready for your explanation of how it is the palestiniens that does not want to discuss peace.

They should suspend construction of new buildings for now , although I would allow some construction , such as sewage and drainage systems to prevent any damage to existing buildings, and any construction that would help in stoping erosiion.

Your reply is as arrogant as Netanyahu's actions.
You're reading more into my reply than what I said. I am against the settlements, I simply answered the question that was asked by Scarey.

Ratcheting up the pressure is a common negotiating tactic in any field.

Netenyahu's base includes the groups that insist on building settllements, unless he could show some positive results form the talks to use as leverage to stop the settlement parties trying to do soi would result in an election.

As stupid as Netanyahu's decision is, it is the Palestinians who may choose not to continue (Abbas has not decided yet).

Considering Israel has shown willingness to force settlers out, I think it's not the big issue that it's being made to be. That being said, i would prefer if Israel continued with the freeze.

Why does every attempt at peace talks always seem to resemble an episode from Mad magazine's Spy vs Spy cartoon?

The other side is only half at the table. Maybe only a quarter, if you consider the PA to only be half there.
Oh, so you are now arguing that they are not at the table.

Again, very sound logic: The palestinians do not want peace, so they cannot be at the table.

Some of them plainly are not.
Of course: The Palestinians do not want peace, ergo they do not take part in peace negotiations.

Likewise, because Israel can do no wrong, it is right in restarting the building of jewish settlements on the occupied west bank.

You can stick to your opinions. I'll stick to my facts.

I disagree with you that Israel should restart the settlements, as I'm against the illegal settlements, but if you support them that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion.

Just pointing out your logic.
