I was recently analysising the activities going on in Toronto & Mississagua !
While following all the updates going on in Mississauga, i feel the old time favourite Thunder Hazel M. is loosing her hold on her Wasteland City of Mississauga, which is now the 6th, largest municipalty in whole of Canada, and a debt free city, needs a change at the Top Level at City Council!
The Conflict of Inquiry against the Mississauga Mayor was signed by 7 of her own Councillors, out of the house of 11 Councillors, that means nearly 64% voted against the Mayor after consulting the residents of thier respective wards! Only 4 Councillors who constitutes 36% said there should be NO INQUIRY against their old time Mayor of over 30 years, who is now in the age bracket of 89 years old!
Therefore, now the people of Mississauga are seriously considering that the Change is Imminent, and some vibrant new blood is required to run day to day affairs of a Great City like Mississagua.
Insider sources confirmed that the present sitting Mayor wants to Run City Council with puppet or Rubber Stamp Councillors for another 4-years from October 25, 2010. I even got an insider scoop that Mayor Hazel runs her house in a total Hitler Style and if any of her Councillor does not see eye to eye with her she creates a bad environment for that particular councillor who is not in her good books!
The Majority of the residents of Mississauga wants their city to be globally known, and not as a surberb of Toronto any longer, due to its strength and its progressive attitude, and most diversified communities living in The Great City of Mississauga.
Unfortunately the Present sitting Mayor thinks that Mississauga is her Kingdom, and she is the Queen
and she is going to hold the chair of The Mayor till she dies! God Bless Her & Give her a very long Retired Life, that's what most of the residents are now praying for her.
Recently she called the 7-Councillors who voted for Conflict of Intrest Inquiry, were named as Gang of 7 Councillors, which is totally inappropriate to hear from such a dignified Mayor!
Wish and hope that soon the sitting Mayor would now realize that the time has come for her to gracefully retire with total DIGNITY! She has even named her mystery team whom she is supporting, they are a bunch of inexperience people who are just there to grab power with the help of The old Mayor
& encash on her popularity and then become puppets and rubber stamps, which the vibrant and politically conscious peole of Mississauga would definitely reject! or a NO CONFIDENCE MOTION WOULD BE TABLED BY HER OWN PRESENT COUNCILLORS, WHO ARE ANY DAY IN MAJORITY!
Hope and pray things go smoothly in the forthcoming Local Elections particularly in Mississagua!

Huh. Because 7 of the 11 councillors voted for an inquiry (may I add almost a year ago) she has lost the support of most Mississauga residents? Your logic leaves something to be desired.

This inquiry is a political vendetta orchestrated by Carolyn Parrish, who has made no bones about it she wants the Mayor's chair.

Interesting use of statistics... totally wrong but interesting none the less. 64% of the councilors may want to have a look at the deal 4 of them are Carolyn Parrishes happy little group of idiots. That leaves 3 of them who voted for the inquiry for their own reasons. They may end up regretting it the inquiry is going over budget ( insert surprised gap here) and tax payers are going to want to know why, spesially if the inquiry comes back with a "She Did Nothing Wrong decision" . Multiples of millions spent to perpetuate the great Parrish ego.

16-Candidates Are Contesting For The Post Of A Mayor, against Mayor Hazel M.

For your kind information Mr. K. Douglas there are 16 Candidates who have file their nomination for the Post of The Mayor of Mississagua,
but then how come Ms. Carolyn Parrish, did not file her Nomination for the Post of The Mayor, she has filed her nomination as a Councillor from her own ward to be re-elect herself, your contentions are not clear Sir!

Carolyne Parrish is basically an idiot, but she is an intelligent one. She had no chance of beating Hazel even if Hazel had been caught molesting gerbils with q tips. That is why she is running in her ward as opposed to the mayors race. Point two, there are always multiple challengers to the mayors seat 11 is a little higher than usual but there have been more, she always wins with over 80% of the ballots cast, in fact she has not campigned for the 4 elections she just registers and wins.

Your facts are wrong, City Council has 11 Councillors, out of which 7 Councillors(64%) voted YES in favour of Conflict of Intrest Inquiry against the Mayor, whereas only 4-Councillors Voted NO for Conflict of Intrest Inquiry (36%) please correct your facts! The Mayor call the 7-Councillors as
Gang of 7 Councillors, which is pretty inappropriate in view of many residents of Mississauga! The Mayor now wants a Puppet or Rubber Stamp Councillors Only! Vacancy exists if anyone intrested to be the Mayor's Rubber Stamp may apply for a 4-year Job Contract with all perks at the cost of Tax-Payers!

Parrish is crafty. She knows when to throw her hat in the ring. She's banking on Hazel stepping down mid term if the inquiry comes back negative. This is well known in Mississauga political circles to which I am privy to some information.

Within five years Hazel will probably be prone to wandering. Carolyn might be banking on that too.

If Hazel wins re-election I'll be amazed if she can still recognize her own face in a photograph by the end of her term. My own grandmother was still sharp as a knife and driving her own car at 92, but by 96 she was unsure who she was and wearing an ankle bracelet--at that age things change quickly.

The final decision is up to the voters. From what I have seen Hazel has not broken any conflict of interest guidelines or laws. The inquiry was brought about by Caroline PArrish who as I have pointed out prviously is not worth the paper her name is printed on. 3 of the remaining 6 who voted in favour of the inquiry are Parrish supporters the remaining 3 though the issue needed to be examined go for them.

The fact that councilors voted for the inquiry does not mean that their constituants wanted it it just means they wanted it so congratulations 64% of the councilors want an inquiry. So to the best of our actual knowledge

7 people out of 695000 want an inquiry, that is 0.0008633 % of the population of Mississauga.

On October 26th I expect we will see just how many people are mad at Hazel..

Pool starts here I am expecting she gets 80% of the votes for mayor anyone else in?

Anyone with a chance of winning running against Parrish? Would expect the Hazel supporters would put a lot of effort into getting someone else elected in Parrish's ward. I don't know why people vote for Parrish to begin with.

Expect that the people running against Hazel are hoping Hazel will die during the election phase, as that is the only chance they have of winning.

KBear your thinking is pretty correct, all the contenders are just hopeing to be 2nd, to Hazel, so God forbid if she dies & if she has not taken the Oath to her office, then accoridng to election rules the 2nd, winner can become the Mayor without any elections for a period of 4 years!

Interesting. I am not a resident of Mississauga, however, I met a client the other day who is in real estate. He said that Mayor Hazel is corrupt, she has been developing the downtown Mississauga area which is owned by her son, where as the port credit waterfront area is left un-touched, the real estate community want the southern part of Mississauga enhanced to reflect what is in Toronto. Any thoughts on this?

The most unfortunate thing that the Mayor is not planning to replace 7-of her Councillors with a un-qualified and un-experience new Councillors that would cause more harm to our City of Mississauga, and the wishes of 64% population of The City of Mississauga would be crushed by the present Mayor who wants to rule Mississauga as her own Kingdom! Which is sad and unfortunate for all residents of this vast wasteland. Today the City of Brampton introducted Zum Express Transit Bus Service, the credit goes to their Mayor and their MP's whereas our Mayor has failed to do anything for Mississauga even after ruling for nearly 32 years now, she has lost the vision now due to her old age of 89 yrs. Lord save our souls now!

Could you possibly edit this post for
1) legibility
2) grammar
3) spelling
4) accuracy

actually any one of the above would be an improvment
