Favourite US City?

San Diego is one of the hidden gems of the United States. I've heard its an absolutely great city to live in.I haven't been to very many U.S. cities either (still haven't been to NYC) but I really liked San Diego, Miami, and Nashville.
It's in CA so it's going to be very expensive.
I forgot to add that San Fran is nice but windy and the only city where the bums ask for $$$ for nuggets and they don't mean the ones from McDees. Also the houses are funky looking but I love the ocean and wine country.

I heard Portland, Oregon and San Diego are really nice too. I'd love to also go to Houston and Dallas.

I love New York City. As I have said before, it is my home away from home.
I have been to and liked Raleigh, Chicago and Atlanta.
I did not like Deroit, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Philly, though we only drove through Philly just to see where the Flyers played, this was before the new arena.

NYC, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Miami, and Vegas are worldclass cities. I'd like to visit all of them.
I feel the same way about NYC. Never been to Miami. I liked New Orleans when I visited (well before Katrina) and San Francisco.
NYC. I even like the harsh attitudes that I sometimes have gotten when I asked the denizens for info. Priceless.
