What's your favourite US city?

I haven't been to many US cities, the biggest ones I've been to were NYC, Boston, Orlando, Buffalo and Anchorage, but my favourite is NYC, what an incredible city.

I haven't been to very many U.S. cities either (still haven't been to NYC) but I really liked San Diego, Miami, and Nashville.

New York, specifically Manhatten. You can't beat it.

I recently visited Chicago and loved it. However, NYC still tops my list.

I've been to many U.S. cities over the years. Because of an addiction to 'Mickey', I have to place Orlando close to the top of the list, but not the very top. That spot is reserved for Denver, CO. The mile high city has converted me to be a Bronco fan and everything about it. Something about the big mountain to the west, the skiing beyond that and all the great people I dealt with over there (SP's included).
Another one I'd put close to the top would be Pheonix, AZ. Beautiful city in a beautiful state and a short drive to visit the Grand Canyon!

To live or visit?
To live -- it would probably be NYC (I've lived there for almost 3 years and still have lots of friends/contacts over there).
To visit -- Sin City. I can't live there because I'd go broke.
I've been to Chicago and it's like T.O so I don't know what the big deal is about the Second City.
Denver is nice but seems a little bit dead (but I went in the winter so that could explain it -- it snowed too heavily to visit Boulder).
Columbia and Madison are nice collegetowns.
Worst city has to be Buffalo.

My favorite US cities:
-NYC: I used to think Toronto was a "big city" until I visited NYC. Now I laugh at the "Toronto is the centre of the Universe" line.
-Las Vegas: Crazy party town. Really wild.
-San Francisco: The one California city I think is cool
-Chicago: Not as big as NYC, but not as crazy either.
-Miami: cool vibe there with the huge Cuban community
-Austin: Yes there are some cool places in Texas

Nothing can really compare to Manhatten, Toronto seems so small and insignificant compared to it.

Other US cities I'd love to visit are Las Vegas, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, and Miami.

NYC is great fun, hotel prices are silly, real estate is nuts, and for a fortune you get to live like an animal. Great restaurants and many things are cheap...because after paying for rent everyone is broke and they can't cook in their $500K dog boxes. lol One city I really liked is Austin Texas.

Las Vegas, the weather is great year round and everything is just there for you. The reatuarants, entertanment clubs or shows. Shopping of all kinds, depending on your tatse of expensive or 3 factory outlet malls. There are some sight seeing spots in and around Vegas and only a couple of hours drive to LA with the GPS of course.

To visit:

NYC, Las Vegas and LA would be my top three. I have been to most of the other big cities, but to visit, I like those three. I have not been to New Orleans, Dallas or Houston, perhaps on my next trip I will visit them.
