Hi ... Planning on being back in K/W for a couple of days. However, since I last visited the area, both ASA and PS have shut down/moved. Are there any other 'agencies' that are filling the gap?

Thanks

Hey, the owner didn't deny it, there was a post on craigslist a while back stating it's for the girl's safety.

If you're comfortable with that, all the best to you my friend.

Hey I tell it like it is.

You're right. He didn't deny it. Instead, he creates a PR campaign to deflect from addressing the issue - "cameras at his establishment". Six months ago on Craigslist-KW, I saw a picture of a hobbiest sitting in one of KWK rooms. He obviously didn't know he was on candid camera because he was staring right at the camera. The ad was removed a few days after. So yes, there are cameras there. Once they move to the other location, they may have more.

If you do incalls, you must face the fact it might be taped or photographed. The married hobbiests or other hobbiests who want privacy (doctors, lawyers, white and blue collar workers and etc...) should be aware of this.

I know as a paid advertiser, KWK, will have this removed and most of you will not read it. But for the ones who do spread the word and be careful.

That statement could probably be partially true, but the far reaching implications for a married or attached client “caught in the act” could be devastating. Not that I care, I don’t visit incalls, I’m single and Hotel CB is my comfy zone ;)

Isn't this illegal in North America though, in the show called manswers :) featuring Joe Rogan's voice, he was stating that the only place one can tape without the other person's consent/knowledge is Itally, in this continent is regarded as a serious crime and prosecuted as such.

Anybody who has a knowledge of the law, please post.

True? Scary!
I didn't like the current group of girls anyways, but yikes....

BTW dj1470: Thanks for the very useful info. I was looking for that info earlier tonight. Thanks.

Note to myself: Go on TERB more often to use the useful information of other members...

I am not a lawyer but, as far as I know, this is patently false. If nothing else, there is no sweeping "North American" jurisdiction, unless they were trying to say that coincidentally all countries in North America have this law in common...

My understanding is that there is no law prohibiting anyone from taking a photograph or video of you where there is no expectation of privacy. For example, if you're just walking down a public street, there's no expectation of privacy so you may be photographed or filmed by anyone without permission. This includes commercial artists taking photographs for post cards, film crews shooting a scene for a movie or security cameras just observing the neighborhood. I'm not allowed to photograph or film you in your own home because you do have an expectation of privacy there. It's your own private home and I'm not allowed to photograph or film anything in it, including you, without permission or a permit (in the case of law enforcement).

You have no expectation of privacy if you come into my home or place of business...

If this weren't so, the Paparazzi would be out of business a long time ago and cheesy low budget TV shows like Just for Laughs Gags would be bothering the entire neighborhood for waiver signatures! Did anyone on Speakers' Corner ever sign anything?

This is true. If it does not record your voice, then it is ok (there has to be a sign saying you are being watched, however). You know how some clothing stores have a notice saying 'smile, you're on camera' ? It just means they are recording the store activity in case of theft.
