I think Germany left their "A" game in the locker room... and their "B" game, too!
And Spain was razor sharp... they could/should have done a lot more -- at least for us, fans -- but their style is to surgically execute the 1-0 game.
Spain's game today reminds me of the way Brazil used to play... except those Brazilians were never satisfied to sit on the 1-0 game and kept dancing to that samba beat to the very end. Like Muhammad Ali, they could "Dance like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

oh lots of people give a fuck, its the pure football lovers who give a fuck, the ones that are so happy 2 attacking style teams are in the final. Also its because the loudmouths aka Italy and Portugal here in the GTA along with the Brazil bandwagon squad have been forced to shut up, so glad we dont have to hear about Braaaaaazil from people who have zero connections to the country, and have never been or will never go there.Interesting that, the closer we move to the climax of the World Cup, the less anyone here gives a fuck!!

I hope someone followed my sage advice. But, whether you like their style or not, damn... the Spanish looked amazing. Maybe the best display of total team skill that I've seen in a long time. You always see teams display great skill but it's usually against a team that is not on the same level. Against a soon to be dominant German team... that was pretty special. And, imo, they dominated without even using one of their most gifted players in Fabregas (it's a farce that this guy is sitting on the bench. He starts for ANY other team in the world. Spain only came on against Paraguay after he was FINALLY allowed to remove the pine from his ass! Is he the only guy playing in the Premiership? Hmmmm...).
Off my soapbox...
The Dutch play a similar, possibly more aggresive game, but it's going to be an extremely tough matchup. They're going to need to be much more physical and make the Spaniards pay for their pretty passes. It's surprising that Germany didn't really push that envelope. Two elite ball control teams.... Should be a good game... with the possibility of being a truly great one if the Dutch can push Spain around and maintain a fair percentage of control. Can't wait...!

I have seen the video of Paul hesitating to pick Germany yet he was not confused at all when he picked Spain again. Let see if he's accuracy is 10/10!
