This is as stupid a statement as it comes. How many people in 'our' (whomever 'our' is!!) are killing someone for watching TV. It is time that people were honest and confronted this type of BS for what it is. The religion has been hijacked and if you don't stand up and say it...then you must agree with it!

And yes it has EVERYTHING to do with it!

They don't kill them for watching TV, but maybe there are other reasons?...mix religion (of course not publicly announced) and foreign policy together and you have one bad campaign.

Really? You might wish to debate that point with the various cultures that have been exploited or exterminated over the years. Or with the various groups that seem to think that the US military industrial complex and its associated support of the free market economic system are exploiting the world and use institutional violence. Or even with the G20 protesters that feel that the state uses excessive violence to ensure that capitalism is the dominant economic system.

Islam is no more or less violent than a Christian society or a Jewish society.

I can't see how someone can lump the atheists together with the
conservatives. The influence of atheists in American politics
is nothing compared to that of the evangelical right.
