That's tale pappy. No question they botched the case, but there was such a mountain of evidence leading back to this man I can't believe they couldn't get a conviction. It doesnt matter whether OJ killed Nicole or not, the courts found him not guilty.
It doesnt matter if they found an old surveillance tape of OJ killing Nicole, with his dream team of lawyers a conviction would have been impossible.
I dont know about you, but I am pretty sure the late Johnnie Cochran could have convinced me that 1+1 is 3. And if he didnt Shapiro would have. They are too smart. To guys like Shapiro and Cochran, the rest of us might as well be retarded.

People have been put on death row and executed with less evidence. Scores of them if not hundreds. He was rich, and could afford to hire the best at bending the direction of this trial. Personally I think he was as guilty as sin.trouble is they had no direct evidence.

I like Dick Cavett's comment at the time after OJ was found not guilty. He said that if he ever met OJ at one of the various celebrity parties they have in California, he would excuse himself and say I'm sorry I'm going to talk to those people over there who aren't murderers.
And I believe I read his hands were arthritic and were swollen at the time because he hadn't taken his medicine. He sure put on an act. He's a shitty actor to. I think what bothers me the most is no one, including OJ, lifted a finger to find another suspect. And of course, since OJ killed them there was no evidence of any kind to point anywhere else.
