Was in the mood very late last night. Happened to be heading home from the market and stopped in at BSHS around 1:30 am. Met by Yuki at the door. I knew I was taking a chance, but Yuki was my type (almost spinner and very cute) so I took the 1/2 hour and stayed. In the room, Yuki comes in and says your girl will be right in. In comes Jody - not my type. She seemed nice enough, and not "fat" but definitely not a spinner.

Asked for light massage, and kept waiting for the flip, After a while she says "we only have two minutes left....you want more time?" So, being a novice, I opt for an additional 15 minutes. After a few more, I ask "can I turn over" "Oh yes, turn over now please." A lot of teasing, and nothing for Mr. Happy. So I ask if I can get a "full massage". She tells me to be quiet, and asks for an additional $40 for a finish. I figure I'm already in for a lot, so I might as well get what I came for. Finish was nothing special.

I've read good reviews about this place (as far as Asian MP's go). Did I just run into a bad night, or am I missing something? If this was a TOFTT, I would say save your $$$$

I think he is referring to either Jade or the other Asian place at the North end of Bank. BSHS is way South near Alta Vista. If Scott112 was heading home from the Market, that would be a bit of a hike.

Veering slightly off topic -- has anyone else noticed the explosion of AMPs in Ottawa in the past 5 years? I believe I joined TERB in 2004, and either I was naive, or blind, but I don't recall any AMPs back then. Now they outnumber the non AMPs here in town. (Well in the Sun at least). Anyone have any clues as to why? Did the rules change? Are we just catching up to other cities (being a sleepy city)? Sinister underpinnings? Just curious...

Yak may be right. I was pretty sure the door said "health spa" but I could be wrong. It was definitely north of Gladstone area.

If you like it then you should ask-for-a-massage-from-it. And don't be afraid to say no to a bait-and-switch.

I've read good reviews about this place (as far as Asian MP's go).

The place you reviewed is not BSHS, but "Colorful Health Spa" on 621 Somerset. That's the only Asian MP other than Top and 256 Bank that is ever open at that hour.

Not really a rookie - just not thinking straight that late at night. Learned my lesson - I hope. Too bad though, Yuki was definitely cute. I think it was Colorful Health Spa. I might give it one more chance, unless someone else has had a bad experience there?

Here's a review of Colorful Health Spa from another thread:
"Went to the place on Somerset near Bronson the other day (not the new studio that has cropped up next door) where Colorful Massage was. Had a decent massage from a lovely lady. She was fairly cute and had some great braids in her hair. Her massage was decent, although felt a bit light at time (I like it hard) but the ending was amazing. Worth a repeat."

Ohhhh ricco just beat me to it --- It's Top Massage -- can't miss it with flashing lights, big posters in every window, a neon sign or two.... Right on Bank -- first floor.

Reviews have been very mixed. Anyone else care to share more info????

I'm pretty sure Top is the busiest MP on Bank St. at the moment. Must be the sign. Anyway, this place is a better version of TingTing's. Strengths: open late, nice decor, good massage. Weaknesses: No matter who you see, only the most basic option will be available - and it will cost you $40. Because the girls are nervous about getting caught (by LE), the finish will most likely be rushed. Also, there is no shower available.

Just got topless there, but paid $80. I got away with roaming a bit to the south, but just barely. Finish was average, but not rushed. Very cute girl- from China. Young with nice b cups. Forgot her name. Sorry everybody.

Just a reminder that this thread was originally about BSHS at Bank and Alta Vista and is now about an Asian place right downtown. Info on BSHS is minimal on this board. I haven't seen anything since I posted a negative review years ago.

I saw an asian girl a couple of years ago named Yuki. She was in her mid 20's, maybe 5'-3" tops, nice set (maybe enhanced,) black hair with highlights (red?) , rose tatoo on one back shoulder, limited menu...overall enjoyed the service and fairly cute and talkative. I believe she
said she was Canadian born from out west.....would this be the same Yuki scott12??

Don't think so. Never saw any tats (not that I saw her in any revealing positions) and her English wasn't good enough for her to be from Canada originally.

the Yuki you speak of was actually Yumi if i am correct and has retired and is running a resturaunt with her BF. The rose was the giveaway .....
