Was it John Cerutti who "suddenly" passes away at age 44 a few years ago? In at least one culture, "suddenly" is code for suicide. It is really hard for some athletes to come back down to Earth after the applause, the adoring fans, the big bucks, the music, ets. stops.Sad. Athletes dying too young nowadays. What's going on?

You're thinking of Darryl Kile, St Louis Cardinals. It was 2002, geez, time flies.if my memroy can recollect, a St.Louis Cardinal or Cinci Reds pitcher died a few years ago from heart complications....weird that MLB pitchers are dying in their sleep?...anything to do with drugs( speed?)
Cause of death was 90% blockage in 2 coronary arteries.
I will remember him fondly. But I will remember his wife even more fondly.
