So I think I'm finally going to got through with it and join the ranks of you guys. I've been lurking around and reading things that I like. I've been tempted for over a year now, but just haven't had the balls to finally go through with it, until now.

I was thinking I would start at an MP. Xotica in Cambridge looks good. Anyone been recently? Would they make me feel welcome as a first timer? I'm not really sure how everything goes down.

Anyone have any other recommendations for a first timer? I'm in Brantford, but anywhere in the Tri-City would be OK.

well, I persoanlly have never done the MP thing in Guelph, but over the years if there is a good review or story, its 99% in Guelph....

taboo and Xotica are so shit...I mean hit and miss! 1 out of 100 gets a decent time worth the money.

I went to Xotcia 2 times. First time was for some action which I got little but the attendee got a facefull she never expected..lol
the second time was with an old friend who ran out screaming while I sat and waited for him in the "lobby"...
seems to be higher quality service, locations and all around super service in guelph. remember, Guelph is a big money town!

I don't even know which places they have in Guelph. My experience has been all K-W, Cambridge and some TO so far.

What's in Guelph and where? Any links? Don't make me spend time actually looking for myself! :D

Buddy alot of my friends work at Toyota Cambridge plant and the stuff they tell me that they let go on the cars (corolla's) is nuts!
I was all about buying a Toyota, and after talking with over 10 people there, they have made my choice not too, extremely easy, lol.

Considering the track record they have for safety and quality prior to this unfortunate recent problem, it's a bit of a stretch to suggest they're not a good company and/or not making good products. I'm a student, I work there in the summer sometimes. They are absolutely anal-retentive about quality control. All the shit-talking in the media has everyone assuming they make crappy unsafe cars, which is hardly the case.

Not that I give a shit either way, when I'm done school I definitely won't be working in the automotive industry, but you can do worse than getting a Toyota, that's for sure.

On topic: Guelph is a good spot for SPs and MPs. 226 and 400 Speedvale are a good bet.

oh i agree, before hte media shit storm I was out looking intentively for a Toyota corolla and a new Camry....I ran into an old friend who works there, and asked her , her opinion....after I was told some of her stories I made it a point to talk with people I know that work their and pretty much everyone had a similar story of missing some parts, not adhereing to the job/task at hand...like the wheel wells was a pretty common one. Not getting rust proofed (some compound added) so they dont rust...lol guess they will only get about 5 yrs ebfoer they do.

So I bought a Honda Civic and an Accord. (yeah funky stuff goes on there too im sure, lol)...

my biggest reason for saying Toyota fucks people is the fact they blatently knew all these problems and swept them under a rug and hoped they disappeared and USED their "reputation" to hope they would get a pass!
as a Business owner, I have a great name and rep, but never take it for granted...never!

Guelph has some good SP's too..why pay for a hj, when you can get the full service meal deal for about the same price?
