LOL!!! Just like lotto, you have to play before lady luck can help you. Of course any team has to work hard with grit, passion, and determination. Then lady luck may just put that team over the top. Lacking of the former, lady luck may not be interested in helping.Do you really think it was luck, As said earlier by myself and others, they were definitely hungrier as evident in most games, got some breaks with calls, posts, and injuries, as do ALL teams, then dug deeper to do what needed to be done. Oh ya, and got a hot goaltender at the right time. Can it happen twice, my heart says sure, but my head says doubt it. Go Habs!!!
Not the way they played tonight.blackhawks are taking the cup though
If the Habs do not win more games in this series, they may be crying with Sid the kid too. *Wink*Sid the cry baby kid in this series
GO Habs GO
It's a small world after all. 3-3. One game, winner takes all. GO HABSA world of difference between Washington and Pittsburgh
Montreal got lucky in the first round, they drew a team which could not come together and whether the storm. I took Washington because they had the offence going, top offence in the NHL, good PP and Montreal did not seem to have an answer to who is the number one goalie. In fact it was only late in the series when Halak stepped up his game.
Pittsburgh and Sidney Crosby are a different story. They will not go away. Halak will have to up his game even more because the Pens will find a way to score.
Winning one of the first two games in Pittsburgh is a must because I am certain the Penguins will take one in Montreal. Going down 3-1 against Pittsburgh means 'game, set, match; see you next season'.
I think it is the end of the road for Montreal this time.
Penguins in five.
Yes, you were! Wingman! They have heart.Wow, Habs hanging in for a game 7. I was dead wrong.
I'm one and I'm right here!Where are all the Habs fans ?
There was a goalie named Hasek, who took his team to the cup finals. As good as Halak is in net, he does not score goals. That weakness was highlighted to-night. The Habs scored no goals.
Want to hear a Don Drysdale story? He won a game 1-0. He hit the home run for that one Dodger run.
