I have a wager that will pay me approximately $2500 if Lee Westwood wins the 2010 U.S. Masters. I want to find someone/site who would like to take Westwood at even money.

How do I go about finding/placing a bet like that?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Never used them, or to be perfectly honest understand it, but maybe this is a good starting point: www.betfair.com/

I was looking at thegreek and if I were you, I just toss some $$$ on Mickelson. Tiger could do it but I doubt he has it in him to win this tournament. GL whatever you do.

bet365.com has Westwood at +140 , what that means is, if you wager $1000 , you win $1400 (provided the wager is a winner) .

pinnaclesports.com has Westwood at +163 , even better odds, you would profit $1630 on a $1000 wager.

You misread his thread. He already has a bet on Westwood. He wants a hedge bet (against Westwood) in case Westwood doesn't win.

I joined Betfair once I realized my situation, but left it too long to lay Westwood there. He was at 2.00 to lose, so I could have had a nice insurance bet of $1250 or so. He is now close to 3 to lose, so I will have to decide by tee - off. $800 is better than nothing.

If I went the other route, I would have to cover Mickelson and Tiger as I would never discount him. Also, a few years ago, Yang came from out of nowhere to beat Tiger on the final day, so anything can happen.

Yes, freestuff is correct. I already have Westwood, I need to lay off now to ensure I get something rather than hope he wins and possibly get nothing.

Ha. That's funny. Yeah, I'm usually the one screaming and yelling but it's because I'm losing.
Golf is not my sport so I rarely bet on it. I hope TFH was able to hedge out of his bet.
I did hedge, but left it a little late. Still happy with the profit though.
