Going away for March Break with family, looking for a car rental. Priceline.com doesn't seem to be saving anything, with "taxes and fees" they tack on. Any suggestions? Disney, FL area.

Thanks? Not sure what you mean by that? We're not going to Disney, just near it. Orlando area.

try carrentals.com for info, and then go directly to the company to book

If you are with state farm insurance add car rental insurance on your policy. It will cost you but will save you each and every time you have to rent a car in canada or the us, they rob you for the insurance costs by about $8-$10 a day.

WTY check all the sites, hotwire, travelocity, expedia, as well as the auto rental companies own websites. Yes, it takes a few minutes but you will be suprised sometimes at the savings. You also should consider making a bid via Priceline.

Exactly. I've found deals by going to expedia, travelocity, etc., as well as trying the car websites. Also, if you choose a rental company, check back later to see if the price has dropped and then give them a call. That happened to me with Budget. The final cost for me was way less than what I originally agreed to.
