Sedona is a beautiful place. I was there about 15 years ago with my GF at the time. Flew to Phoenix and drove up. It's incredibly scenic, with the red rock and everything. Also, to the southwest, I think, there's an artist's community in an old mining ghost town. That was worth visiting. ?Sorry, I don't remember the name of it.

Not much, but I hope this helps. Have a good time.

If anyone has been there and could provide some feedback, I'd appreciate it.

Depends what you are looking for....if you aren't into hiking, golf, or wierd karmic enegry shit, it's a day trip to visit and see the red mountains with strange shapes.

Yeah the "ghost" town of Jerome is worth the extra travel. There are also a bunch of Indian ruins in the area that I always found interesting. There's sking near Flagstaff.

I've been to Sedona a couple of times on the bike. The ride up to Jerome is very scenic, bring the camera, as for the ghost town itself, wasn't my thing. I don't know for sure about this time of year, but one thing you should do is book one of the hot air balloon rides that are available. Just Google Sedona Red Rock Balloon Rides. Theres no better way to see the red rocks of Sedona. Also theres a little park just south of the main drag that everyone goes to watch the unforgettable sunsets, forget the name of the small park, but if you ask some of the locals I'm sure they'd know. Again, bring the camera and a bottle of wine! In my opinion, if you're staying on the main drag it's easy to walk down to the restaurants and bars. I never had a problem walking back to my hotel after dark. Beautiful place to have a retirement home, if you've got it. By all means Enjoy!

Not a rant but a sad observation. When I first went to Sedona 15 years ago, it was a beautiful setting in a red rock canyon. I've been back several times, but sub-divisions have filled in the canyons so that they have really diminished the natural beauty.

Oh well....civilization just encroaches on everything.
