Yes, he was one of the best. I listen to both new music and old school. Old school singers for me include Barry White, Luther Vandross, Teddy P, and a lot more. These guys are gone, and although some of the younger ones are good, the majority are just pure crap. Sorry if I offend anyone, but that's the way I see it. When you download music, you have to make sure you get the 'clean' version. You need to be close to the remote so you can quickly mute any undesirable words that happen to pop up,especially when the missus and children are around.

But, Teddy was good.

Ahhhhh yes, the sweet, sweet sound of Philadelphia soul, Teddy had all the ladies swooning. My favourite BlueNotes song, Wake Up Everbody, prior to him going solo:

Also love his Love TKO and later copied by Hall & Oates, also a great version.

Damn, my childhood memories are slowly leaving me, all around me.

Think I better let it go. Looks like another love TKO. Damn this is sad news :(

A legend lost. RIP Teddy. Now you can sing with Luther.

@ home of course. Jeesh!
* a sole tear *

What's going on here?!
Some extraterrestial force is calling all the true talents back to the mother ship and is building the ULTIMATE band!
MJ, Jeff Healey, Pendergrass, (add many others).
Don't fret too much Rosie's lovely friends; they've left us the good ones (Nickleback, Headley, Britney Spears, etc) NOT!!!
