Have you ever been to the Bodyworks exhibit at the Science Centre? I went a few years ago. It was fascinating. They actually had plastinated slices of real cadavers on display. You could really see the fat in the obese person. It's not just a thick layer on the outside of the body, but really does develop within the body, around and throughout muscles, heart, organs, etc............scary.
Look at the ankles on the obese person in the first post. It's no wonder obese people have so many problems with their feet.

Fat looks yummy doesn't it? This is a regular Jenny Craig poster ad. Seeing the stuff during surgery makes anyone want to get that out of their body. It reminds me of that scene from one of the best movies ever made - Fight Club - when they pulled out a bag of human fat from the trash outside of a plaster surgery clinic and it ripped open spilling all over the guy....yikes
