Why not wait to see what the final product is? If you don't like it, or the way the board is administered, the door leads out - don't let it hit you on the ass as you leave.
I'm not complaining about the change, just making an observation that change is never communicated very well here.
Opinions are welcome here, we've seen a wide variety of them on this board and I appreciate that mine are tolerated as well.

Instead of everybody complaining 20 times about everything not working, how about giving the administrators some time (24-48 hours) to work out the kinks?
...but I'm horny NOW...and the SEARCH isn't working@##@#%$%&$$#*%%$$#ing crap!;)
Does this mean I'll get a discount on my subscription....just askin'

I don't see a date on the individual postings. That's a necessity.

I hope whoever is in charge of tech support fixes the log in bug because I'm fuckin' pissed that it takes too many tries before I'm logged in here!!

At the risk of sounding like a kiss ass, props to the admins and those who run this site for trying to make this a better experience for us.

Haven't had an issue at all signing in. Perhaps it is a Browser issue? I'm using Firefox just so you know. Signed in first try both at home and at the office.

Indeed I do appreciate what Fred and the Mods do here.

However, at the same time there are problems with the new system, and as someone else previously said it was rather sprung on us.

That said I don't envy Fred or the Mods their jobs!!! So thanks again even if I keep being a grump :)

I will admit I haven't read all the posts, so this may have been brought up already.

One thing I noticed is there is no way to clearly tell which posts are new. The old system had different coloured squares next to the date. This version doesn't seem to have something similar.

IMHO, until Fred Zed starts charging a membership fee, communication about changes is a moot point.

I personally prefer the old look of TERB, but I don't strongly object to the present design. However, there are two major problems:

(1) The Search feature does not work at all; I tried to search all new posts reported by a certain TERB member and all I get is an error message stating "Item Not Found".

(2) In the previous version of TERB, there was a feature where one could look at the posting history of all TERB members from their User Profiles. I don't see any such functionality built in to the current feature. I find this annoying, as I often like to look up specific new threads or posts by certain TERB members, especially any new posts.

I would hope that the moderators would do everything in their power to get these features either fixed or reincorporated.

not entirely a cosmetic change - we are now running 4.0 which is more secure and feature rich.
Logging in issues will be resolved shortly.

My appologies in advance - patients is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I wanted to say that...

Fred, how about user fees? That might make all the complaining more justified.

Lord people give it a chance.
Lol..I have tried. But each time I get a lot of emails from TERB members stating that
they are "writers" who are contributing content to the site and as such I am the one that
should be compensating them..
