My question to you isn't relevant to me. I don't support banning abortion.
I also do not support state support for mothers regardless. If you want to have a child, fucking support it yourself.

Oddly I never said banning was a remote possibility at all.

You got that from others attempting to put words in my mouth and you followed their lead.

What you failed to see is my answer included all you have said about the question.

You're right, you never said that banning was a possiblity, but this conversation (from where I joined in) was regarding the comment made by Kirk in post number 5, which was regarding banning abortions.

I'm not following anyones lead. A question was asked and I wanted a straight forward answer from you. You still have not given one. This is not an attack on you or your beliefs, I just hate wishy washy answers and I just wanted to see an plain, easy to understand direct answer.

I'm not even sure what you mean by your third sentence.

I never posed that question

How would you pay for them?

Or would you have them killed before they see the light of day?

Bush destroyed your economy, not Obama. Obama is having to try and pick up the pieces and prevent the second depression. He has no choice.
You guys that keep trying to pin the blame for the economic crisis on 'W' make me laugh. Fact is, the repeal of Glass-Stegall by none other than Bubba Clinton in 1999 via a bipartisan vote in Congress, allowing the banks to now participate in mortgage backed securities, CDO's, credit default swaps, and other high risk derivatives were a major cause of the collapse. In addition, mark to market accounting brought the banks balance sheets down to dangerously low territory, and prevented them from lending billions of dollars. The easy money policy of Greenspan didn't help much either, and aided the onslaught of sub prime mortgages. 'W' had little or nothing to do with any of this.

My answer to the question is I never support higher taxes but do support better use of the taxes collected.

The third sentence is we seem to agree more on this issue than not.

That would be a terrific answer if the question was What do you think about increasing taxes.

I hope you don't conduct your daily business in riddles like this.. ordering a pizza must be a nightmare! :)

pizza with everything minus green peppers, ad anchovies and well done.

taxes are quite another matter. You don't get to choose which ones you pay.

Consumers destroyed the economy. Bush and the banks only provided vehicles for the drive through get rich quick society. Obama is doing nothing to reverse that.

Absolutely true.

I am disappointed in Obama as president.

He has not lived up to the hype (which would have been impossible frankly)

I know that as president he only has so much power, however, I look at the so called Health Care Reform and frankly, if I was an American, I'd be pissed off because there is NO REFORM. It's just the same old shit. At the end of the day, the American politicians were cowards and afraid to enact any real change to the health care system. They weren't even after Universal Health Care, they were after a government run alternative and they could not even come away with that.

That failure I do blame on Obama. He was unable to strong arm members of his own party. He had the biggest majority in the Senate in a Generation and he could not motivate the Democratic Senators to get on side with the reform. He's too busy golfing and running around collecting Nobel prizes he doesn't deserve.

He strikes me as all talk. Gives good speech, but that's where it ends.

All that said, he IS better than the last MORON they had in power for 8 years.
