I fail to see how that is so. Essentially the question has become, if abortion is banned, does the state support the unwanted children if adoptive parents cannot be found?
This is an excellent point and obviously far to cerebral for our myopic little blue brained Gnome.

DEMS should ask the GOP & Roman Catholic Bishops who of late act in Talianesque fashion over abortion, who will support all these unwanted children? Will they create another Gov agency to deal with all these children THEY will be producing and WHO will pay for it?
Bet it you tell the US RC Bishops THEY WILL HAVE to care & PAY for all these children they will change their tune!....

I expect you realize that abortion will never be banned and D and C's are being done to circumvent the Federal Funding issue. That being said the question has no meaning other than as an argument.

Now on the the argument or question. I have no option but to pay the taxes required of me by law.
You keep tap dancing around the question.

So I will answer for you......

"I want abortion to be banned because MY morality says it's killing innocent babies, however, I would not support my taxes being increased in order to cover the cost of the state looking after millions of unwanted children. My position is that I will protect the rights of the unborn until such time as they are born and then it's "Mission Accomplished" and I walk away, and then they are not my problem, nor are they the problem of the state. I do not support increasing welfare to single mothers (welfare moms) as there are already too many of them and it would only be worse. My position is that pink unicorns will look after these millions of unwanted children and all will be well" In short, I want to tell you to live by my rules, but I don't want to pay for it."

How's that?

All you have to say is that you will support your taxes being raised as required in order for the State to look after the unwanted children that would result from your abortion ban and you win the arguement.

But you can't even say it.

(Though I have to admit that at lease you're honest about that - I'm sure that there are lots of Neo-cons who wouls SAY that they would support such legislation, meanwhile knowing that they don't mean it in a million years of Sundays.)

I never support higher taxes. I support a better use of the ones they have now.

Based on your responses, you must be a politician.

quite the opposite.

I am not blind to the issues or blinded by them.

Let me ask you this. You asked for the answer to the question and I gave it to you. Do you support using abortion as a form of birth control and why?

I don't think you answered the question. It was a yes or no and I didn't see either.

As for your question to me. First, I'm a man and when it comes to abortion, I don't think ANY man has any opinion that matters on this issue. When science enables men to experience pregnancy then I will give a shit what any them think.
That aside, I'm not "pro" abortion but I don't believe it should be forbidden either. As a method of birth control? No that's idiotic. If you're using it like that then you're a moron who is unable to learn from their mistakes. But people do make mistakes and it should be available for women if they are in that unfortunate position.

N you are beginning to see the depth of the question.

back to the original question can you answer it as a yes or no question, knowing the question encompasses the birth control aspect of the issue and not the medically necessary.

My question to you isn't relevant to me. I don't support banning abortion.
I also do not support state support for mothers regardless. If you want to have a child, fucking support it yourself.
