Couldn't be there...Wish I had been

As a regular to MI and a new member on terb, I really wish I could have been there. Work has me away right now. I'll try to be at the next one.
And Bryant, I agree completely when you say Veronica Parris is hot and a puts on an entertaining stage show. I think she's one of the best dancers in all the years I've gone to the GTA & Ont. clubs.

Being from out of town, it was awesome to have the chance to go to a terb party before I head back to the west coast.

It was really fun and I went through copycraigs and got a hotel room at the mariott which was really nice! They gave us a corner suite with a kitchenette. I was able to bring My friend and she had fun too

I met a few terb folks and everyone seemed friendly and nice. I will be back in Ontario for a few months starting in January. can't wait for the next party!

Only suggestions;
Having a coat check
Being able to buy drinks from the bar

Thanks Sheik and all the organizers, I have something to tell people back home!

Having a coat check
As long as it is optional that is fine. When I went to the TERB party at the Opera House, the coat check and $5 charge was mandatory. Just a cash grab.

Being able to buy drinks from the bar
For some reason, John Sit (aka JustaFan) has this policy of only buying drinks from waitresses. Maybe, this policy could be waived for that one night.

I am also waiting to hear what Dawn has to say about how much "fun" Jemma was.
Well, there's that too, but I was thinking more about the bouncy dancing Julia and I were treated to beforehand.

where were they? I didn't see them at the Mirage booth...
Blame Demien if you couldn't find Greta and Tessa. I think he was holding them hostage by buying drinks. :p I got the chance to meet both ladies for the first time, and can see the appeal! Loved Tessa's GND look.

One helpful uggestion for next time: a coat check at the door. It was bloody freezing out so I wore a heavy coat, hat, gloves and scarf thinking I'd check them all when I got to the door. Then I found out there was no coat check so I had to wear the coat all night as I wan't going to leave it in my car and catch a cold walking to the door with no coat. I thought SR had a coat check last year? Could be wrong, but I don't recall walking around in my coat in 2008, so either I didn't need one as it was mild or I checked it at the door.

Anyway I'm not complaining - I had a great time - just a suggestion.

I suspect we don't need coat check service for the St Paddy party =P

Sheik -the party was too perfect. I really had a good time. Thank you!

Unfortunately guys.... the vast majority of the strip clubs do not have coat checks. Rhino was an exemption because its following the upscale model of gents clubs. Whereas Midway is more of a blue collar club.
Don't blue collar guys need coats?

Yeah, I noticed when I was at Loco they didn't have one either, though I don't go to many SCs up here in the GTA. In Florida they don't need coat checks at SCs as one doesn't need a coat - even on a cool winter day a short walk from car to club door would be fine.

I think normally in a not so busy SC it is not needed as I walk in, get a table, put my coat over my chair, and stay put. Waitress brings drinks, I don't know anybody there, and if I want a VIP dance I just bring my drink and coat into the VIP room and dump it next to me on the sofa.

The issue with a party is that we want to walk around and mingle, and it is busy. So we can't dump our coats on chairs we're not using as others want the chair/table. So we have to carry it around or wear it around, or not wear one at all. I noticed some were leaving it in their cars and running back to the door with no coat. I would have, but the wind chill was like -22 lol.

Maybe they could set up rental coat racks in the back somewhere just for the party night, have a staff member or two to do coats. I tipped them $5 to give me mine at SR, so the coat tips would add up for whoever was doing it I'd guess. Not sure if they have room in the back for coat racks to hold 100-200 coats though.

Yes, it will be warmer for St Paddys day I hope haha. I'm already looking forward to that party. Even though I had to wear my coat I still had a great time. Very well done.

well you don't catch a cold from the weather you catch it from germs...should be called 'a germs' not 'a cold' :D
Haha. True, but when we are cold our immune system has a harder time keeping the upper hand dealing with the germs we have already been exposed to. Remember that "House" episode where he wants to make a rat sick so he can test some drug - after exposing it to the germ he puts its cage next to the a/c vent so the cold air is blowing on it so the germ has a better chance of overwhelming its immune response so it gets sick. We're constantly fighting off germs without getting sick day in day out.

btw to all u wussies bitching about running in/outta your car without a coat...
I fear no frost. I was closed in a -20C freezer with sandals, a t-shirt and shorts and it didn't bother me, why would those mild temps? :p

I will admit I was rather surprised at the turn out there on Thurs. But I did my best to get some mingling in.

I did get to speak to almost all the GIP, except Deme. I think I surprised Genevieve, when she went to introduce me to them and I told her I had already met them. Though I do wish I had of taken some more time speaking with Madison.

Got to see the ladies from Mirage get swarmed shortly after they arrived. That must have been very intimidating for them. So I had to settle for speaking with Ravi to begin with, lol. With that said, I did get to meet several of the ladies I wished to meet. (You know who you are) I did see Tessa, but didn't get to speak to her. Recognized the blond hair and big black cross. And I missed Greta all together.

And CopyCraig set me up with an awesome room. I was expecting a plain ol room. Bed and bath, and that's it. I opened the door, turned on the lights...And there's a full kitchen in front of me.

Midway Invader
2 super entertainers

Special feature Carmen Kay donated 2 free feature shows. The best embassador for the party. Handing out hundreds of autographed posters between the two shows and after, we were totally surprised she said no for any alcoholic beverages from our club. She was well-received and well-loved by everyone at the party. Such a super entertainer.

Our special MC of the night, Mikey D, did a day shift at Loco and come over to the party to MC on his own time. Totally amazed by his energy during the party, he and DJ Sid the Kid became instantly perfect partners for this special event. His showmanship provided perfect assisstance to Sheik presenting the door prizes and annoucing lucky draws winners. Now I understand why Sheik had a big smile on his face the night before when I told him the special party MC will be Mikey. Big thumb up for Mikey.

I also like to say thanks to close to 10 volunteers for the party. The day manager Rick, accountant Billy Lee, Loco doorman Jonathon, off duty doorman/bartender Michael Chang, my 2 sons Ken and Kevin, dancer drivers Dan, Marha, Peter and his wife. Without the help from these volunnteers my old body would have collapsed way before 12:30 when it actually did.

Thank you all.

I got a poster! I didn't catch Carmen's first show but I did the second. She is a great feature dancer and sweet as sugar.

Mikey D! I saw him up there and wondered if he was pulling double duty! Probably the best strip club DJ in the GTA. By far my favourite, and he's a stand up guy as well.

I didn't get a chance to meet many people...I showed up kinda late after work. But it seemed like the night went very well...holy crap was it full. I love being around all those beautiful women.

Down Under
Day late and a dollar short.

Ok I may be a day late (alright 2 days late) and a dollar short but here are my thoughts on the Christmas party (I couldn’t get online at the hotel).

It was fantastic!!!

Thanks to Sheik and all who put time and effort into planning, organizing and implementing all the details required to pull this great annual event off without a hitch.

As a noobie here I didn’t know any of my terb brothers and only some of the ladies so after arriving at 10pm, I grabbed a beer and hung out at the back of a very busy club for awhile taking in all the sights. I bought some raffle tickets and found out where to drop off the gift cards for the Wish. Oh ya somewhere along the way more beers were had and a couple of dances were enjoyed.

I spotted Gen who I have seen a few times and made my way up front but she was busy meeting and greeting so I went up to Molly to introduce myself and said hello.

I am there talking to Molly and they are doing some of the raffle draws so I get out my tickets, still talking, admiring her cleavage and sort of listening to the numbers.
Molly then said to me THAT is the winning ticket, you maybe know where this is going – yes it was a two hour duo with the Girls in Pink!! OMG I think I know how the lottery winners feel like. What a great night this was!!

Gen said hi and introduced me to Brynn, Jezebel, Flora, Deme and Scarlett looked beautiful with her curly hair. I some how missed Madison and had the good fortune of meeting Simone (who missed the party) the next day for a pre booked appointment.

I also said hello again to the always gorgeous Latika. So for a guy on the shy side it was a very successful night even though I still have not met any of my terb brothers.
The next party I will make it a point to meet some brothers and a lot more ladies also.

I would like to say a great big thanks to The Girls in Pink for an outstanding prize which I am really looking forward to.
