Just a thought CG, but 2 1/2 weeks before Xmas and you're hope they've got stock. It's IS a fumble on Apples part but I know a lot of computer stores that are down stock by this time. Try Best Buy at any time. I'd of asked for a supervisor or manager, whatever they call them at Apple and ask him WTF. I'm a big fan of the Apple stores and they have always come through for me and as we all know, I can be a pain sometimes. Sorry for your 'mis' adventure.
