what a tacky PR move on SHaq's part. If he wasn't just trying to self serve his image he would have paid and not told any one. The money is mice nuts for him so what he really wanted to do is milk the publicity.
big money says if you had it... you probably WOULD NOT have done the same....
when pro athletes give donations and on occasion time and effort to support a cause... all people do is criticize and ridicule them on either why they shouldnt do it more often or .. that they have all the money in the world so they should give more....
... I'm all about giving back...(i.e. clothes to diabetes foundation, special Olympics etc, etc...) and when athletes do it... it is something special because of their 'STATUS' in the communities...
Good For Shaq, at least he showed YOU and the World..he has a heart and isn't oblivious to the world around him!!!!!
