Heh, just watched a family of deers graze about at the very end of my property line yesterday. It was serene... And no cops were called in! I wonder where my resident fox has gone for the past week. I sure hope he doesn't end up in a Toronto jail.

That is because they don't know what to do and how to do their job.
Simple solution to them is Pull out the TAZER.
THe baton leaves to many marks. Ignorance, Arrogance.

Couldn't they have called the SPCA?

and this isn't the first time either. I recall when I was in my teens, a steer got away from the stockyards that used to be at St. Clair and Keele. SWAT team chased the terrified animal into a variety store ffs(!), then shot it. As I recall, the store owner tried to sue, but was unsuccessful.

they had animal services there along side the 20+ cops and the ETF who did nothing but hold what looked like a volleyball net.

after about 2 hours they tranq darted it then ran in and tased and netted it.

On one hand it's sad that the deer gets tasered, on the other hand it's good to see that animals are finally treated like humans.

I wonder if it said, "Don't tase me, buck!"
