Without saying to much as it is personally identifying...I went to the same schooll as him (a few years ahead) and knew him and his family well - have spent time with his sister and have soem wonderful music of his when he sang at his church in Hamilton.
I still connect with his mum from time to time and his whole family are wonderful people with wonderful spirits. The accident was tragic and I knew he was getting over the worst of it, so it is a real shock!
I have all his music, some of his sisters and some unreleased stuff on cassette - a fantastic rendition of 'Bridge over troubled waters'. If I can hunt it down. perhaps I'll convert it to mp3 and post somewhere as a tribute to him - although it may be copyright infinrgement.
RIP Haydain
I encourage everyone to buy a copy of SOULMate when it is released in the next few weeks as all proceeds are going to a family trust.
