The US gun crazed-nuts are popping out all over!
Yesterday it was Texas. Today it's Orlando FL......another GOPer State!.....:rolleyes:
Seems this guy just lost his job....

Orlando office building gunman on the loose

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police are searching for a gunman who injured at least eight people at a downtown Orlando, Fla., office building.

People are streaming out of the building and some say they have barricaded themselves inside their offices.

Orange County Sheriff's Spokesman Jim Solomons says his department is backing up Orlando police and they're still looking for an armed man wearing a light blue polo shirt and jeans.

Orlando Police Sgt. Barbara Jones confirms there has been a shooting at a high-rise and multiple people have been hurt but she can't say how many. She says there is only one shooter.

The Orlando Fire Department tells WESH-TV that at least eight people are injured. Interstate 4 is closed in both directions through downtown and a nearby school is locked down.

Shit occasionally happens in a free and open country of 400 million people (bound to be some gene defects in a population that large). Of course, this could never happen in a tightly controlled society like the PRC.

ike its been said many times Guns DONT kill people, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand WHY people other than LE or hunters NEED to have guns.

Some of the stuff Ive seen in US stores would put the Canadian Forces to shame!!!!!!!! WHY in HELL would a CIVILIAN need a fucking machine gun!!!!!!!.

Im in my mid fifties and can remember seeing bolt action rifles shotguns and ammo being sold in EATONS SEARS etc when I was a kid but NOTHING like the US stuff.

Just don't understand it and I was in the CF 18 years.

Some of our paranoid schizoid conservative basket-cases feel their pop-guns are needed for when the govt goes Liberal or commie which to them weak of mind sorts means the same thing.......cause Mullah Limbaugh tells 'em so....:rolleyes:

They fear Obama will send the special opps Men in Black to take away their pop-guns so they have a need to be heavily armed, so they can defend themselves safely from their bunkers.

Crazies with guns. There will always be crazies and there will always be guns. There's nothing that you can do except try to keep the crazies away from the guns.

I would not want to live in a country where only the police and the military have guns.

The OP tries to make this a partisan thing. Truth is that most of the gun violence comes from blue counties. The downtown urban cores are where most of it happens. The same places that voted for O Bummer.

I remember in Bowling for Columbine, Michael Moore pointed out that Canada has a higher gun ownership per capita than America yet less gun violence per capita.

The problem cannot be blamed on gun ownership.

I don't have the stats in front of me, but I seriously doubt that.

I'm sure Canadian farmers and hunters have just as many rifles and shotguns as their American counterparts, but no way do Canadians have near as many handguns as do Americans.

Handguns are the ones using in nearly all the gun crime.

The USA is awash with guns.
In ALL US Cities including Buffalo a gun of your choice can be had in ~15 minutes or less if you know where to go.....:eek:

I wouldn't be surprised. I ended up in Black Rock, Buffalo for a bit. I'm sure it's not the scariest ghetto in the States but for this Canadian, it was an eye opener...

It is a lot more complicated than you suggest. Within a given state, violent crime rates tend to be higher in urban areas. However, overall rates tend to be higher in red states. And rural areas in red states tend to have higher rates than rural areas in blue states.
