She's a gifted performer. In an evening gown, with an orchestra. Pretty well the antithesis of rocking out.
My point was simply that the young ladies attempting System of a Down on violins appear to think they were rocking, but were in fact not.
Where you are compelled by the total ass-kicking-ness of a song (mainly rock and metal) to go ballistic. This can include air-guitaring, jumping around, headbangin', throwing the horns and generally whaling on things - you're ROCKING OUT!
