If you don't know what you're talking about, why would you pollute the thread? Hanna Montana is a Disney character portrayed by Miley Cirus, daughter of Billy Ray Cirus. And has nothing to do with the Prime Minister entertaining the audience with a rendition of a Beatles classic.

The relevance is that these days the Beatles are viewed as pretty harmless, much like Hannah Montana and not some radical band who is a bad influence (as some have suggested).

I, for one, think it was a nice moment for our PM, though many Canadian Beatles fans feel "insulted" that Harper would be a fan of the Beatles and cover their song
