Friend of mine went to Cabo Wabo and said it was great, the pictures were good too.
sounds like most clubs/bars downtown TO.
actually, acapulco was alot like that, you just mind your biz and keep to yourself, and you'll be fine. i am more inclined to hang around the resort most of the time anyways at nite. most excursions i do during the daylight hours.

I've been to Cabos twice and I love it! I'd much rather go there than Cancun! The fishing is amazing (lots of charters for day trips), the whale watching is fantastic (depends on the time of year), and the night life is awesome (anytime you go!).
I stayed in Cabo San Lucas, as well as San Jose Del Cabo, which is on the other side of the hotel strip about 35 km from Cabo San Lucas. I definitely recommend trying to find a place in Cabo San Lucas, rather than going to a big 5 star resort where you'll have to travel back and forth to town.
It is a safe place to go, surprisingly cheap to party at (lots of bars have all day happy hours!), and the weather is just about perfect anytime you go (as long as you like it hot!). Cabo Wabo is a great bar to hang at and watch live music. I was very disappointed to find out that Hagar was jamming on stage a couple of nights before I got there. Now that would have been a hell of a treat!
I'd recommend Cabo as a great place to go to if you're interested in partying. If you just want to go to a beach and read a book for a week, it won't be your destination of choice! lol

Fabulous place. Cabo Wabo is great...watch out for the Tequila flying through the air (from pumps on the waitresses).
Squid row is a party-place...especially if you're younger.
Great golf to the east...Nicklaus course and others.
Try the ATV tour...make sure it's one that heads to the beach and to the dunes. Bring a camera.
A couple decent restaurants but I'd suggest going to the higher-end hotel restaurants.
