That's what happens when u allow someone with no class to play with people who do. What a raving lunatic,at least her sister knows when to shut up

From what I understand it was a bad call but frankly, class? Are you insinuating that tennis players are above other sports? Heck, athletes and coaches in just about all other sports get ousted, penalized, and ejected for berating the refs, linesmen, umpires etc.

I like the fact that even John McEnroe said "she went a little too far" lol that is the epitome of the "pot calling the kettle black" lol......

Serena lost her composure in the heat of the moment, but she still is a great tennis champion and just watching her makes my dick rigid. She has a smouldering sexuality.

McEnroe argued and was whiny at times, but I don't recall him ever swearing out loud at an official. This seems like an escalation from conventional to nuclear weapons.

She is a great player, but not a great champion, there is a big difference. As far as her sexuality, to each his own, not my cup of tea.

I lost a lot of respect for her with that outburst, I've always had a problem with her arrogance though, many times when being interviewed she would roll her eyes or is sarcastic, definitely not a great champion, she could learn a lot about that from Steffi Graff.

Well, Mc was back in the 70s and now you hear the F word on HBO just about every 1.2 seconds......but he threw rackets, yelled at the top of his lungs directly AT the officials.....

I didn't see the video but read online that it was clearly a bad call. I realize the line judges have to make instant decisions but that's what they are trained for. Errors shouldn't be made.

Kind of reminds me of some of the piss poor officiating in the NHL. I remember watching too many games where the TWO refs are calling interference calls if a player's stick gets anywhere near another player's hands yet totally miss crosschecks to the head, blatant trips etc.......I remember one "coach's corner" where (I forget who it was) the "star" was tagged with a late hit and was writhing on the ice in "pain". The instant replay showed the player who "hit" him didn't even touch him. Yeah, the other player got a penalty lol....

I don't think it was any worse than what McEnroe, Connors, or Ilie Nastase used to do. It was a bullshit call at a key moment in the match. If that had happened to Johnny Mac (a chintzy call on match point in a major), he probably would have physically assaulted the line judge. I actually like Serena more now, because she said exactly what she was feeling, cameras be damned.

Mc Enroe

A friend of my Dad's used to play with McEnroe when he was in Australia and the thing with McEnroe was that his eyesight was so good he could see when the calls were wrong, even from the other end of the court.

He was such a perfectionist and expected the same from the officials and that is what set him off as well.

Was a death threat even issued? I heard that it wasn't 100% positive that she did...but then, is "I'm gonna kick your ass" really a death threat? or "I'm should shove this ball down your throat"????

I know in society any kind of threat like that is a criminal offence and I've known people arrested for it but on the courts? Or during a sporting event? I know some parents have been arrested for actually following referees etc......

I know it wasn't the best example of sportsmanship but come on, let's move on and chalk it up for what it was......

Frankly what that dickhead Avery does is FAR FAR worse than this......
