Time? Number of posts? Content? Request by a participant? Can anyone close a thread. Can the author or origin of a thread close it?

You should check your private messages. There is a good chance that the moderators sent you a message. (They do when I do something outside the guidelines.)

if you can't figure out why it got deleted after reviewing the rules and there is no PM in your inbox from the mods, then I would suggest sending the mods a pm asking them.

If you read the Terb Posting Guidelines, I think rules #6,#7,#9,#10 were broken.
It sure was fun while it lasted.
