Under all the circumstances it is ill advised to report to the police, but I do not understand why the OP will not identify the culprits. I suppose that if he gave his real name and identification, then, yes, leave well enough alone. The new law could be used by the girl/agency to hang him out to dry. Howve,r if this is not the case and he is anonymous, then it seems ok to me for him to expose the people concerned. After all this is, in part, what this board if for, NO? And this event is very serious. Just curious, when did the OP realize he had been relieved of a $3500 watch and the cash?

If he goes to the police and files a complaint there will be no doubt as to his identity. She also has his address as it sounds like it was an outcall. So yes, if he takes it legal against her there is a good chance she will retaliate by trying to get him charged.

If he went to the police and where charged under bill c-36. I can see this being challenged being unconstitutional. I would consult a lawyer. Plenty of lawyers willing to do this pro bono.

But not plenty of customers willing to become media sensations by publicly outing themselves as Johns. Bedford became a household name as a prostitute fighting the old law, do you want to be a household name as a John? Most would rather lose the watch.

This is an example of how c36 makes it open season on customers: they can be victimized by all kinds of crimes like this with no recourse to the police.

The guy would be a hero if he did.

Well said Fuji and prior comments plus those of others.

The only justice that can be had, assuming the OP is anonymous to the SP and/or agency, is to out the suspected thief and where she works here, although the agency is not necessarily complicit.

so this law empowers female thiefs, right ?so any female thief can pretend to be an escort and feel free to rob their victims and go unpunished.
I read a lot of cases on perb where fake escorts from BP just walk away with the money without providing any service

I didn't agree with you at first but guess you're right. As long as they have evidence of a planned or committed hook-up, they can use C-36 against you or hold it over your head. The only power the john has is to REVIEW/REPORT such culprits.

I am residence in Canada so I have my rights. Sorry I will not name the agency on open forum as I do not wish further headache with this agency. Their lack of actions is really bothering me as I always use them when I am in Toronto .
since you aint going to use this agency likely ever again, you should at least post the agency's name. At this point, your post is useless and no help to anyone and to you

Wow, this is the first I've heard of a provider, robbing a client!

Not!

First rule of hobbying, NEVER bring valuables, with you! Ever. Bring only the gratuity, and leave everything else locked up in your car. In the case of an out call, that's what hotel safes are for.

Expensive lesson to learn. Sorry for your loss.

Second rule: Is always bring a gun and have an escape plan IMHO.

You are a sitting duck. Easy target for a robbery.

I only do outcall, but even with SPs I've seen many times, I always put my wallet, keys, phone hidden away. Also, stuff in my bedroom such as my watch, booklet of cheques, passport I hide in another room too (a room she doesn't go to).

So there's nothing of value to steal. If she wants to go to the bathroom and steal a roll of toilet paper or some drinks from my fridge when I'm in my bathroom go ahead. She can take as many bottles of water and rolls of Charmin she wants.

People should be extra cautious since this type of industry isn't the type of one people are going to go to the police for help. Someone is going to go to the nearest station and tell the cops an SP stole from him? Of course not.

As for the agency/SP, please tell. Or please tell us if we PM you.

No different than SPs making threads saying...... "Watch Out, Dangerous Client...... PM me for details"

You use "Charmin?"

This is the main reason I do not do outcalls anymore, unless at a hotel. NO WAY do I want the lady to have any leverage over me in any way shape or form under c-36.
