Federal officials took her daughter while she breastfed the child in a detention

I am required to carry a Passport for my Grandkids while travelling and a letter from the parents and I am a Canadian citizen.
I don't understand why someone breaking the law who is not a citizen is complaining.
Try sending your kids to another country without any document and see what happens.
There are only a few European countries, USA, Canada and Australia, the rest of the world wants to get in.
Why even check passports at the borders .....Let all families with kids in.
