Very nice. I particularly like the catamaran by Tower Bridge on the Thames.

I guess it proves that old saying: Money may not be able to buy you happiness, but you can pull up along side it in your 50' sailboat.

I am certified with the Canadian Yachting Association..... but of course need help...... PLAN...... go for day sail.... at least half the crew .... hot g.f.e. escorts. It is located down by Outer Harbour ( Toronto lake Ontario). Soooo Ladies & Gents ... lets start a crew list . Launching Mid. May. BTW can take 12 on board. Cheers.

What an extraordinary idea.

I have zero sailing experience with the exception of some very short excursions in a Laser in Georgian Bay a number of years ago.

All the same, I'm up for a day on the water with some lovely ladies!

Perhaps this fine young lass can handle a couple of sheets...

For those of you who are into this sort of thing, some rather esthetically pleasing photos of sailboats from around the world in 2008
Very nice photos. Personaly I think #11 looks like a pleasant sail as does #9 (albeit with something half the size).

#25 is for Danmand.

#15 is the Amerigo Vespucci of the Marina Militare (Italian Navy)

I've never done the Sydney-Hobart race (and probably never will) from everything I've heard and read I understand it is a tough race! Great photos #7 & #28

40' C&C here, sail out of Port Credit. Maybe we can hook up for a day of sailing in the summer.

Sounds great or .....

.... if enough ladies.... sail both boats & then dockside party. Could co-ordinate a location even if need to get guest slip. One really nice place with a few bars/ eateries , is Ontario Place marina. Plus easy central location for group gathering.

Pic#12 is Tom Perkins' 'Maltese Falcon'. The ultimate in billionaire nautical decadence.
It is totally automated including sails and masts and can be operated with a crew of 1 (one) using a laptop.
He was trying to sell it about a year ago for somewhere around $200 mil.

Any takers?

Ah, now you're making me envious - I need to find some excuse for a tax deductible business trip to the Antipodes.
