Thank Bryan. Because it should have been a win.
Kilger, Antopov and Raycroft played their heart out.
Kathleen darling, why are you so kind to Bryan??? *Wink, wink* Bear in mind, the young Sabres played their back up goalie this game. Perhaps Ruff contemplated one of the Leafs will score on their own goal. :p

Ironic thing is he almost did it earlier in the period and scared the shit out of Raycroft, and to be such an idiot as to be chipping a rolling puck in his own goalmouth is unbelievable. A stupid play is a stupid play and just because he got away with it the first time doesn't really make it any more forgivable. you either blast that puck in the oposite direction or off the boards with all your strength - or better yet just fall down and smother it, who cares about a delay of game penalty with half a seconf left in the game??

What pisses me off is that during tonight's and the game against the penguins they were taking it TO them and were playing great....then it is like (as always) someone comes along and tells them to back off and they do, and they lose....WTF???/

For a second there I almost thought that someone up the chain in command called the bench and said "back off if you want to coach next year..."

Raycroft better get off his ass and start scoring some goals....
LOL good one dude!

I can see what was going to Raycroft's mind: He was like "shit, no only do my defencemen not protect me from the other team scoring goals, but now they're SCORING goals on me too? this is fucked...." lol

Interesting...I'm not a Leafs fan at all, however even I don't have the heart to laugh at my fellow terbites who are.

McCabe...now that's funny. JFJ...funny as well. The best was Raycroft's reaction McCabe's first scoring attempt, makes me wonder what he said in the dressing room after the game.

To the Leaf fans - I admire your tenacity in sticking with your "team"...but seriously now folks, they are a farm team at best in terms of talent with a big league payroll...a lot of which belongs to McCabe...sad really...

Leafs will be lucky to make the playoffs again - it always seems to come down to one or two points and McCabe just gave one away.

I'm surprised that no one is venting their venom at the man who set this chain of futility in motion. I'm referring to HE that has a job for life: Richard "The Grate" Peddie.

Twice in the last 25 years the Leafs have given the keys to the magic kingdom to a guy who has no managerial experience at GM level ie. Gord Stellick and John Ferguson Jr.

Stellick's term was a botched fiasco and so is Junior's.

At least Stellick has some personality.
