Well just got this extension for Firefox called: Download Helper.

tried on a website they don't mention, read their one paragraph manual and works nice so far.

In IE it was simply but lately I notice that Adobe Flash doesn't d/l or stay on your computer. BUt if the FLV file is created in some google or other program it sits on your caches folder. I could be wrong on the last sentence.

I actually managed to figure it out after installing 4 shareware apps but it's a pain in the ass.
