Aside from my nano, if I had to listen to free radio, it would have to be talk radio. Mojo640 use to be good, but now it has gotten a little too PC. Fan590 is always good.

Sirius radio. Got it for Howard, but it is absolutely wonderful for the other channels too. Havn't listened to regular radio at all since I got it.

Radio? I listen to my ipod, all the songs I want
Just a little modernity rant...

All the songs you want and nothing you don't. But nothing you don't, means you limit your exposure to new artists, new sounds and styles. No more creative input from music experts, such as dj's. Ipods can allow you to sample more music for sure, but unless you're listening to a fair amount of radio as well, it will severely limit your exposure to new sound. That wouldn't sit well with me if the only music I was exposed to was that which I had pre-selected.

I listen to Edge 102. Its programmed by new rock experts, not by me.

I've listened to CFNY-FM 102.1 and all their incarnations since I was 14-15. 23 years later I still listen to them. Back in the days of Beverly Hills, Live Earl Jive, The Mars Bar, etc.

By far, the most knowledgeable DJ in the country is Alan Cross. To me he belongs up there with Allan Freed, the originator of the term "Rock and Roll", and John Peel, legendary British DJ. I religiously listen to the "Ongoing History of New Music" every Sunday.

Love my iPod, but make myself listen to 102.1 for some new stuff, too...

What happened to Fred Patterson on 99.9?

I used to be a huge Humble and Fred fan on 102.1, then when they moved to Mojo, it was the kiss of death.

I never really got back into them on 99.9. They seemed to lose an edge (no pun intended)

Now I found out that Freddie P is gone from the line up and no-one seems to know what happened.

???

Q107 hands down in the morning. 91.1 on the weekend. Fan 590 for Prime Time Sports

I've given 680 News the Heave-ho. I can't stand it when the play the breaking news music for something that happened 12 hours ago, and those insipid man in the street comments.

Last week was the last straw - Breaking News - people are leaving for March break and the airport is busy. Fantastic insight!
