Ricky Romero on the 15-day disabled list with a right oblique strain. Now what?. Brett Cecil to replace him, but how is he going to get major leaguers out when he cannot get triple A players out.

Cecil has allowed eight runs over just 6 2/3 innings in two starts at Triple-A this season. Yikes, who is next

Wonder if Jays are doing something wrong in how they train pitchers.
I've never seen a pitching staff in my life that gets so many injuries.

Somewhere on a golf course
Can you believe BJ Ryan's performance last night..

Blowing a four run lead...His nickname is now "gasoline"...They were lucky to pull it out in the 11th..Now I will admit that the bad throw by Hill did not help but Ryan is paid to get batters out and he seems incapable of doing this..

Makes you wonder. Ripley wouldn't beieve the amount of injuries to this staff.

Ryan also now added to the 15 day dl. Holy cow they are going to have nobody left.

Romero has done the perfect Blue Jay pitcher tactic - play well for a few games and then beg off injured. Perfect.

Maybe its better for the team, Downs should be new closer not Fraser. Downs has earned it and deserves it

Frasor has been a revalation this season (so far). All down apparently to adding another type of pitch.

Last season he was a liability - now he's red hot. ;)

Man the Jays pitching gets decimated by injuries every season. I don't know who's had it worse this year - it's between them or the Anaheim Angels.

I agree with you but in this case the defense let him down. Also, not to get too technical but it was a 3 run lead. Still, it looks like Ryan is incapable of being a consistent closer at this point. He can't even reach 90 mph on the radar.

True enough, but i would prefer downs for the 7th + 8th and Frasor for the 9th then the other way around.
I agree with hammertm. I would prefer to have Downs ready for those tough lefty batters in late innings and have Frasor mop it up.

Well at least Richmond is giving us some steady pitching. Hoping Tallet does the same. But damn if our offence keeps giving us 6 runs a game we should be fine

Rios finally popped his cherry, Wells and Oberbay hitting well to compliment other hitters. Lets only hope
