In the last couple of months, twice they have not picked up the yard waste bags on the scheduled days. Yes, everything is in the proper bags and I know it's not that because none of my neighbour's bags were picked up either. It happened a couple times last year as well. They just simply don't come. I don't want to say my neighbourhood for obvious reasons but was wondering if anyone else is having this problem in other parts of the city? Just curious.... I guess I could try phoning them. lol

I have had the same problem, sometimes the bastardos just skip a few streets and go for a beer.
It is where i live. They usually contract out to waste management companies these days.
Not in Peel. My neighbours are all pissed off too....We leave the bags out but if it (ever) rains they tend to get soggy and fall apart. Where are our tax dollars going?
I've done this before, they will return to pick it up. I would suggest getting your neighbors to call too.
Yep. They run the yard waste around the more essential pick-ups. Sometimes you's lee them come at the end of the day before, to get a jump on it. If time runs out on Trash Day, they get it the next I've onl seen it 'forgotten' once, in a decade on my street. It's not as if it smells or attracts racoons. Of course every town does things differently, but the fact that we have tax-paid yard-waste collection at all made my visitors from Michigan envious.
Call 311 Toronto and report it. They will send a missed pickup vehicle around to collect within 72hrs.
At 3 am haul the bag on the streetcar, head down to City Hall and dump it in the fountain. :thumb:
