So as this Xmas season is upon us, there are many festivities planned throughout December. This evening I am heading to an event as date with a lovely lady (friend with benefits). As I am looking at my calendar I have a few of my own events coming up. I could always ask the friend or go solo which has worked out for me in the past as I don't have to worry about ensuring that the companion is entertained.
My question to my fellow Terbies is; Who you invite a SP to an event as a date ? Would a SP except, would there be additional cost and how would the night end ?
A few years ago (2014), I became friends with SP and over time we had gone to movies and dinner. I had an event to go to around this time of year and I asked if she would be interested, she was. So, leading up to the event we went shopping for a dress (for her, not me :biggrin-new: ) and shoes. I offered to pay but she said no but in the end I picked up a my gift to her. There were going to be people there that I knew from work and I warned her that some may pry to get information on how we met and so on. She joked about "pretty women" thing and was more nervous than I was. It was a pretty formal event but really fun, we had a great time and ended up staying at the hotel for the night. I received complements the following week at work about the knock out date I had and in typical jealous guy fashion the comments around what did she cost you. Which my rely was, way too much as I could never get a hot date like that. The bantering continue for the day but by the next day it was forgotten. Some of the ladies also complemented on her and that she was beautiful. All-in-all I was kind of proud for having a good looking girl that night.
Now it is 2017, don't keep in touch with that SP as she has left the business and we parted ways. Haven't made any real friendships with SP lately but I think about that night and how much fun it was. So, I am thinking of doing it again.
How would the SP feel with someone that they don't know that well? I would obviously have a date prior to get to know one another. What would the cost be, i have seen some of the 12hr to over night rates and WOW, it would have me going solo.
Just thinking out loud, looking for some feedback/comments?
