I don't plan on buying either....However when my young one asks for one I do hope it's the Sony.....I got turned off by MS original game systems and never went back....

The PS3 just because they use the same PPC chip and Sony makes better use of it.
Funny to get the most power with the lowest power consumption and best video quality they went with the same chip set as Apple.

Definitely the PS3. No doubt that both systems will be amazingly powerful, but I prefer Sony's lineup when it comes to the games. Plus I love the backwards-compatability feature, since I have a huge library of PS-One and PS2 games.

I'm gonna wait a while before i get either systems. Gotta wait for the reviews of what each system can and can't do. Who knows, i might just buy both systems. I've done it before.

Ohh, and i'm not even considering buying Nintendo. I think i've out grown Mario and his friends.

Question about the PS3. I have not kept up with news of the PS3 what new features can we expect (obviously it will be faster, and have better graphics but what else)?

I have a PS2 and I like that it is downwardly compatible, will the PS3 be the same way? I hope so because its nice to have only one box plugged in that can handle games, cds, and dvds.

Will the new ps3 have a hardrive instead of memory cards?

Will the ps3 come with a network adapter for online play?

Chances are I will stick with Sony over MS
