WWYD if your kid was a SP, MP, or a SC worker?

Coincidentally I have been watching this US show called "What would you do" on-line.
For me, assuming it is their choice I would support them. If they are in post-secondary I would hope it (or even a more "traditional" job) would not interfere with their education. I would want to know that if they do run into any troubles that they can come home and feel safe.

I would fully support them. If not, I'd be a big hypocrite!
I once had a taxi driver ask me if I was an escort (He was taking me to a motel in the afternoon so I guess he assumed, lol) I said yes and he said his daughter was doing it as well to put herself through university. He said he was proud of her and fully supported her. It was nice.

Client has been a regular at MP for years and one day stops going for a few months.
Male Spa Owner(MSO)
MSO: Hello John, welcome back! Where did you disappeared to?
John: My wife and I had our first Baby boy, he is now two months old and just didn't have the time.
MSO: That is great news congratulations, my wife and I had our furst daughter six months ago, I know how much work they are.
John: That is great news congratulations aswell. when my son turns 18, I will bring my son so your daughter can give him his first body slide and nude reverse.
Question now: What do you think the MSO will tell John?

OK John, I get that you might still be doing your son's thinking for him at 18, or trying to share your sorts of fun with him, but my daughter will decide for herself what she wants to do for work and for pleasure. She won't even be here if all she wants are the profits from the spa. So we'll both have to wait 18 years to see if your fantasy's at all realistic.
But it'll be cute if that's how it works out, and she and I'll buy you a drink to celebrate a second generation of cash flow coming our way.

It's your kids- you have to support them and love them - no matter what they do.
LOL My mom was upset when she first found out. But she certainly didn't mind me picking up the cheque at lunch.
She went into my purse to get my cell phone and found an envelope of cash that said 'Chloe' on it. I think she already suspected something though.
You could have said it was money you owed your friend Chloe.
Or that you sell weed on the side.
It really depends. If my kid said he/she was going into sex work after I had paid for an Ivy League education, I'd be rather pissed. If I gave my kids nothing in life and told them to fend for themselves and this is what they came up with, then I guess I would understand the decision.
That's a tough question to answer, I'm a single father with an 18 year old living with me. I guess, I'd have to put in that position but as far as I know she's not the type.

I come from a very academic family and most are in medicine.
I'm definitely not "the type" either, I don't show off or make blatantly obvious, expensive purchases on a whim.
I'm a full-time student and hold another job and an internship...
I don't disappear for a week at a time regularly without an airtight alibi.
No one would suspect a thing judging by how I am in my personal life.
Definitely not family members.
I don't think we come in specific types.
I think stereotypically, maybe she wouldn't be, but a lot of providers are people you wouldn't expect to be the type.
I'm not stereotyping, And I've met some pretty incredible women in this industry. Some that I would date. I'm just telling you what I feel about her (My Daughter) and I know her well, That's all !
Likewise I am saying that my mother happens to be my best friend and I'm a daddy's girl.
Respectfully I'm not trying to cause a stir, just saying that my parents know me quite well as well.
But let's not raise an issue. Not trying to be disrespectful to you.
