There's a full page ad in the Globe today, re: an on-line test for HIV risk. I guess this has to do with upcoming AIDS awareness day/week. So I took the test, and accurately reported my behavior.

No drugs, no piercings, no BBFS, but honest about BBBJ and DATY.

Test scores put me in the "low risk" category. Not "negligible risk", but low, even telling me that I have a good balance of fun and avoiding high risk activities.

Makes me feel better because I consider hobbying definitely fun, but every once and while I get one of those "Oh shit, what I am doing" feelings.

You may still get one of those, "Oh fuck, what was I thinking!" if you get herpes, gonohrea, syphilis etc. All are spread through unprotected oral action.

Yes you are right...the scary part about HIV, as I understand it, is that you can have it for years without being aware of it.

If you do risky things, it is better to get tested regularly. If you get an annual physical, it is basically just a box to check for when they are taking blood.
