WTF? will santillo - paying the price of success ...?

as a fan of will santillo's photography - especially w.r.t. to his stellar work for the sp's in the industry ... i am not impressed that pamela's pics say 'NOT SANTILLO'. [see www.realityescape.ca ]pamela's photos are impressive enough without having to dismiss santillo's work. i hope he is planning legal action to address this situation.

I noticed that as well once I enlarged Pamela's pic. The thing is though I doubt they meant to harm Santillo personally, maybe they were just having some fun with it.

Pretty much a lot of the most beautiful escorts in the city, as well as some average-looking ones, use Santillo and he has become quite popular during the past few months. I guess whenever any guy sees a top beautiful escort with a webpage with pics, chances are they have to be Santillo nowadays because everything else is 2nd best.

And as for legal action, thats a joke.

Just picture how this situation would look in the courts.

Don't lose to much sleep over this as you've also mentioned the exact same information for the current thread on Pamela.

i am not an expert in copyright infringement law ... but as pamela is using santillo's exact logo [including similar red font]... and merely changing 'will santillo' to 'not santillo' ... i would imagine he would be able to take legal action to remedy the situation ...

besides, if you look at pamela's pics, you see the name 'santillo' clearly .. she has put the word, 'NOT' santillo in white .... which is a lot harder to notice.

many sp's have paid a considerable amount of money to use the santillo name ... it is a shame that someone has to try to discredit his work/efforts.

just to clarify

there are very few of santillo's pictures on my site presently, as I have other jobs , which now take up the majority of my time & so i need to remain more "low-profile".
There are 6 different photographers pictures on my site and I'd hate to take any credit away from them- all great.
On the "Pamela" site thing- i believe it would classify as plagerism as it does use his color, font and logo style.
When I owned a business someone did the same thing with my logo/signage, we would have sued but they went out of business first.

It looks as though Pamela has removed the "Not Santillo" from her pictures.

Sounds like Pamela's "not Santillo" pix are a parody. I don't think he'd be able to sue her for trying to 'pass off' her site pix as his work.

Maybe if she'd used his script and logo and deliberately spelled the name "Santilloe" or something, in a way that confused other people, an action would lie.
