WTF is wrong in Peterborough

Just a quick post to vent....

I get it...things are slow and times are tough with respect to finding good quality SP's everywhere these days.

Having said that...how the fuck did it get this bad?

ZERO and I mean zero legit ads in Peterborough these days. Fake ad after fake ad after fake ad. It's insane!!

I've really been scraping the bottom of the barrel these days contacting SP's who either want to fight with me over text or are complete scams.

No wonder I'm reading review after review fellow hobbiest post about taking extended breaks or retiring all together.

Anyway like I said just venting and it's official Peterborough is the worst of the worst as it relates to NO action and it used to be one of the best.

Peace

I hear you. I have an interesting story. A couple of years ago a young girl posted here suggesting service in the Peterborough area. From the wording of her posting she didn't seem like a pro so I sent her a PM. Anyways long story short we connected met for lunch at the Royal York no less and planned to do some cottage visits when I was alone up north. For what ever reason it didn't happen right away and she eventually went dark. But she was dam cute, wish I could have worked that connect a little better

I would reflect on what you are saying to these ladies. If I am fighting with someone over text, it's because they have royally pissed me off. These types of arguments are usually over no shows, bad behaviour, asking for bbfs or lowballing. The problem with Peterborough is, it has a high unemployment rate and it is not an ideal location. The clients there are generally pretty awful. My worst experiences have been in Peterborough. Your best bet is to just meet someone you hit it off with and keep their number. A lot of time girls are still working but they aren't advertising. There reaches a point where we get so busy we don't have to advertise anymore.

But how to you do that when there is so little to choose from?

I don't think it's my text etiquette thats the problem here. I'm not rude my texts are short, sweet and to the point. I never ask for something not provided and I always clarify restrictions. Thanks for your input. Yes I have made contacts and kept numbers of girls I've met previously so that gets me by so to speak. Understood that Peterborough has high unemployment but there are some people here with money to spend. Should be a gold mine for a great SP as there is zero competition. Some SP's are confrontational because they are mad at the world as some other dude has "wronged" them. The other thing too is that Peterborough is slower in the winter months. Sometimes things pick up in summer months.

I'm with you, Aceman. The Peterpatch has gone from bad to worse for hobbying. As lame as it sounds, when I am in the hobbying mood, I usually always head for Toronto. Yeah, it sounds a bit much to drive 75 minutes to get some action, but in my experience, it has been well worth it.

Also, I have to agree with SinnamonFairbanks -- if I were an SP, Peterborough would not be my first choice to set up shop.

I have never hobbied in Peterborough - but I do know a little about the City (although more historical than current knowledge)

Given the bad economic situation (only to become worse with the looming Canadian General Electric shut down), the older demographics - I think it has the highest % of retirees next to Victoria, proximity to the GTA (why be an sp in P'Boro when so many more lucrative locations close at hand in the GTA) I don't find the current lack of good sp's surprising.
